Subtle Intersections within Independent Realms
Centered on two autonomous wings, the residence balances privacy with meaningful connection. Each wing embodies a distinct generational ethos—one rational and minimalist, the other warm and contemplative—yet they intersect through shared spatial narratives of light, material, and circulation. Drawing inspiration from ripples formed by two separate centers, the design allows each realm to expand independently and meet at moments of elegant overlap, where perspectives reflect and respond to one another. Beyond accommodating daily life and memory, the space acts as an active generator of lifestyle—blending technology and nature to enable flexible living and quietly foster deep intergenerational dialogue.

By merging two adjacent units, this project purposefully stitches together the living rhythms of two generations. Rather than a traditional, single-core spatial expansion, the design becomes an experiment in coexistence—starting independently, moving closer with intention. Through thoughtful circulation planning, material transitions, and a language of light and shadow, the layout fosters an open-ended dialogue between lifestyles.
