LILLA- Time Zonescape

A bridge where California light meets urban time

LILLA reframes time through spatial experience. Instead of "all-day" as a service label, the interior acts as a bridge between tempos of city life—morning focus, dusk social, late-night unwind—so users can set their own pace. Calibrated lighting, mirrored and gradient surfaces, and a clear circulation spine work with sunlight and planted pockets to modulate intensity across the day.

Set in the fast-paced Xinyi District of Taipei, Lilla introduces a soft intervention into the rigid tempo of urban life. Its design adopts the syntax of "parallel temporalities," translating the fluidity of LA's freeway culture into a dual narrative of time and space. The structure—composed of mirrored stainless steel and gradient glass captures the fragmented rhythm of a California downtown skyline.
